Wood’s supporting England’s Hopshires

The Hopyards of Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire produce more than half of the hops grown in the UK, but most beer drinkers are unaware that they even exist.

So to shine a light on the vital role the region plays in British brewing, many of the area’s hop growers and brewers have come together and decided to start calling the three counties England’s Hopshires. At Wood’s, our premium bitter Shropshire Lad, is just one of our beers that are brewed using England’s finest Fuggles and Golding’s hops produced by the Hopshires.
