Wood’s are helping to spread the word and promote the countries National drink during Cask Ale Week, celebrating all that’s good about real ale. Cask Ale Week runs from 25th September through to 5th October and here at Wood’s we are promoting one of our original recipes, a traditional golden bitter inspired by our nearby “Parish” church in Wistanstow, to our customers at pubs and restaurants around the region.
Parish is made with English Fuggles and Goldings hops ( www.Thehopshires.co.uk) and delivers a slightly fruity bitterness, an ideal real ale to try if you are considering a cask beer for the first time. For those who are regular real ale drinkers, please help spread the word and encourage friends to try a real ale when out socializing during Cask Ale Week. With so many varieties to choose from these days, there is a beer to match all taste buds!!
