Red Rescue raises £1,000 for flying docs

We’re delighted to report that MD Edward Wood has handed over a cheque for £1,000 to Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, as a result of donations from sales of our award-winning Red Rescue bottled beer.

We chose Air Ambulance in the medical rescue charity’s 25th anniversary year.

Wood’s is a long-time supporter of Midlands Air Ambulance and has so far donated around £2,000 towards its current overall target of £5,000 for the charity. In the past, the brewery has raised in excess of £14,000 for MAA.

Red Rescue is a ruby-coloured IPA-style 4.2% ale. Below, Edward (centre) presents the Red Rescue cheque to Ian Lock, paramedic (left) and Rob Moss, doctor, at the Air Ambulance Cosford base.
