The Wood Brewery

Wood's started brewing by converting the disused stable block next door to the Plough Inn. In the illustration below it's the section with the single door and three windows.

As our beers have sold more, we've kept expanding the brewery. First we built a small extension to the left of the original.

That is now our hop and grain store, from where we winch our dry materials up to the mash tun.

The building that carries the Wood's sign was added in 1992 to provide us with extra brewing capacity. We pretty well doubled that space in 2003 with the extension on the right. This gives us somewhere to store bottled beers to meet that growing trade. It also gives us some extra office space.

As this is being written, we're extending again, coming out at the front of the two most recent extensions, and adding a bit on the back.
